AIM-   We will begin our study of earth science by understanding the different types of sciences that make up the parts of  Earth Science

What do we know about these sciences?
Geology- study of earth's surface, rocks, minerals, erosion, earth formations, plate tectonics, Pangaea, mountains

Astronomy- Stars, planets, meteors, moons,  solar system, satellite,  milky way, black holes, cosmos, discovery of new parts of the Universe

Meteorology-  Water cycle, natural disaster, hurricanes..., pressure systems, fronts, precipitation, prediction, jet stream, tides, layers of atmosphere

Oceanography- layers of Ocean, life in ocean, rocks or underwater geography, geissers, Water temperatures and composition, reefs, depth, pressure, formation of lands- sea floor spreading
