How to access your grades
To access your grades visit www.engrade.com
The first time you visit- you will need to sign up for an account here http://www.engrade.com/student-signup
Use the access code engrade-mhalpern-your student id - so it should look like this.... engrade-mhalpern-301582987
Register for an account and you will get an up-to-date look at all grades and your current average.
Once you have an account, you can log in here

You can utilize this site to make up missing assignments- remember all assignments can be handed in late, with a 10 pt per day penalty. Any assignment that is completed and handed in more than 4 school days late will receive a grade of 60, as long as it is completed.
Homework assignments are graded in the following manner-
completed with demonstrated effort- 95
completed with medium effort- 80
completed with minimal effort- 75
Incomplete, but demonstrates effort- 70
attempted but Incomplete- 65
1 or 2 days Late but demonstrated effort- 85
1 or 2 days late but minimal effort- 65
3 or more days late and complete- 65
My overall grading policy-
Projects- 35%
Tests- 30% (Lowest test grade will be dropped)
Quizzes- 10%
Homework- 15%
Classwork- 10%
All grades from 64 - 89 will be rounded to the nearest 5, for example a grade of 73 will be 75
From 90-99 all grades will be exact.
